Job Objective:
Define and drive the implementation of Cybersecurity Services strategic initiatives, products and plans in alignment with Business Products & Solutions department's business plan and strategy. Lead improvement initiatives to deliver customized solutions that contribute to the growth to increase sales and revenue across the Business sector.
Job Specifications:
Strategic Contribution
Contribute to the development and execution of the Business Products & Solutions department’s strategy and objectives to support growth in the Business sector.
Develop and lead the execution of strategic plans to implement stc BH’s Cybersecurity plan.
Lead and control departmental activities to safeguard alignment with stc Bahrain’s business goals and performance targets.
Guide the preparation and monitoring of the Cybersecurity Services business plans and annual budget, in line with the company’s objectives.
Control expenditure against approved functional budget on a regular basis and investigate and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective cost control.
Business Products & Solutions – Cybersecurity
Supervise and lead Cybersecurity portfolio, revenues, and profitability to ensure its alignment with the Business sector’s business needs, strategic objectives, and sales targets.
Grow Cybersecurity service portfolio with additional products and features to enable expansion of subscriber base in Business sector.
Analyse key market trends, offerings, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define potential opportunities or threats in the market and devise plans to address accordingly.
Lead the development of Cybersecurity roadmap, identify partnership requirements, and support the Business Products & Solutions department in achieving short and long-term business objectives.
Lead Cybersecurity Services implementation plans including the development and activation of the required products and services (including bundled services) to support the defined strategy by stc BH.
Oversee the Security Operating Centre activities to safeguard its adherence to SLA’s and quality standards.
Lead Cybersecurity service commercial launch in coordination with technical, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders.
Propose and lead the management of promotional activities for Cybersecurity Services to maximize sales and revenue for the Business Products & Solutions department.
Approve Cybersecurity BTL offers which are provided by both CVM & Analytics to make a valuable contribution to increasing sales and revenue.
Define product requirements and successfully transfer functional and technical analysis to relevant technical and sales teams and ensure alignment with Business Products & Solutions.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and business units to stay well-informed of planned changes to technologies, working practices, and business activities that could have an impact on stc BH’s cybersecurity or risk profile.
Set plans to ensure customer journey is streamlined across different products and offerings including the development of customer satisfaction surveys and coordinating the development of feedback mechanisms.
Define quality services, procedures, and SLAs and ensure adherence to set standards.
Collaboration and cross boundary
Coordinate with Sales and Business Operations to effectively prepare support material / guidelines for sales and customer service agents.
Collaborate with pre-sales to develop preliminary solutions and feasibility assessments for potential projects and/or clients.
Promote cooperation with Planning & Performance and CVM & Analytics teams to acquire relevant insights for designing the value proposition of Cybersecurity Services.
Liaise with Marketing to successfully support the development of Cybersecurity service communications plans and briefs.
Collaborate with specialized partners in the development of Cybersecurity services to contribute to the growth and success of the department.
Coordinate with Tech&Ops on the development of Cybersecurity services and products and management of the security operations centre.
People Management
Provide effective leadership Lead across the Cybersecurity Services section team, by setting individual objectives, reviewing performance, and fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
Ensure high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members.
Coordinate the department’s unit’s activities and manage team scheduling to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the annual business plans, policies and procedures.
Assist in the development of the workforce plan and staff hiring, performance management and training activities to attract, develop and retain talent for the Cybersecurity Services section.
Change management and continuous improvement
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the function’s systems, processes, and practices considering international best practices, improvement of business processes and cost optimization.
Approve functional change plans with a focus on leading strategic innovation by developing new solutions or improving existing ones to drive change, meet future digitalization needs and support company’s growth.
Research relevant regional and global market trends to stay up to date with best practices and drive relevant initiatives for improvements.
Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of unforeseen events or disruptions.
Reporting and compliance
Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet stc Bahrain’s organizational requirements, in adherence to the company’s policies and quality standards.
Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, as well as to controls related to quality, health, safety, environmental management, guaranteeing employee and assets safety and legislative compliance.
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or any other relevant field.
Proficiency in English language
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or any other relevant field.
Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership position, ideally in the Cybersecurity space.
