Job Objective:

To lead and accelerate customer acquisition, activation, and transaction growth across consumer and business segments by driving structured sales execution, field activation, and strategic partnerships. The role oversees on‑ground sales operations, sponsorship activations, and partner‑led initiatives in line with the commercial strategy, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, strong market presence, and measurable ROI.

Job Specifications:

Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to the development of the Sales and Growth strategy and lead its execution across field activation, partnerships, and direct sales channels to achieve commercial targets.

  • Lead and control growth initiatives to ensure alignment with company revenue objectives, customer acquisition goals, and transaction growth targets.

  • Guide the preparation and monitoring of the annual sales and activation business plan and budget in line with overall company strategy.

  • Control expenditure against approved budgets for activations, sponsorships, partnerships, and field operations, ensuring optimal ROI and cost efficiency.

  • Monitor sales performance KPIs and profitability metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.

Business Operations – Growth, Field Activation & Partnerships

  • Lead and control customer acquisition, registration, service activation, and transaction growth across assigned consumer and business channels.

  • Develop and execute structured sales and activation plans to improve conversion rates, activation ratios, and customer usage.

  • Identify growth gaps, barriers, and underperforming channels, and implement corrective commercial initiatives.

  • Design and implement sales campaigns, promotions, and incentive programs to drive acquisition and transactional behaviour.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales strategies and positioning.

  • Lead and manage field sales teams, promoters, and outsourced sales partners to ensure strong territory coverage and execution excellence.

  • Plan and execute roadshows, events, community engagements, and on-ground activations with clear commercial objectives.

  • Identify and secure high-impact activation locations and distribution channels to maximize outreach and conversions.

  • Own partnership development by identifying, onboarding, and managing partners that support customer acquisition and service usage growth.

  • Lead sponsorship activations with measurable commercial outcomes, ensuring branding, deliverables, and commitments are executed effectively.

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Compliance to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and onboarding processes.

  • Develop structured sales processes, pitch materials, scripts, and onboarding tools to standardize execution.

  • Ensure consistent brand representation and adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and operational procedures.

 People Management

  •  Provide effective leadership to sales and field activation teams by setting clear targets, reviewing performance, and fostering a results-driven culture.

  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales representatives, promoters, and partner teams to maximize productivity and target achievement.

  • Monitor team productivity, territory allocation, and performance metrics to ensure optimal field deployment.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans where required.

Change Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Lead identification of continuous improvement opportunities in sales funnels, activation processes, and partnership models.

  • Drive innovation in on-ground activation strategies and digital-enabled sales approaches to enhance acquisition and usage.

  • Analyze funnel metrics (acquisition, activation, conversion, usage) to identify optimization opportunities and improve cost per acquisition (CPA).

  • Benchmark sales and activation performance against industry best practices to ensure competitiveness and sustainable growth.

  • Implement structured reporting dashboards and performance tracking mechanisms to enhance visibility and decision-making.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Own delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and activation targets.

  • Track and report key performance indicators including customer acquisition, activation rates, transaction growth, CPA, ROI on events and sponsorships, and team productivity.

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data, forecasting reports, and performance dashboards.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational onboarding requirements, and regulatory standards during customer acquisition and activation.

  • Manage sponsorship and activation documentation, contracts, and performance evaluations in line with governance requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field.

  • Proficiency in English language

  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in B2C and/or B2B sales, preferably within fintech, payments, telecommunications, or digital services sectors.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or relevant sales certifications.

  • Proficiency in Arabic language

Preference in hiring will be given for Bahraini nationals.
